Memorial Trees and Plaques
East Hampton residents and visitors alike enjoy our trees. Purchasing a memorial tree plaque is a way for you to help our trees and at the same time, commemorate a family member, friend, or a special event. Plaques are ordered through the LVIS Tree Committee. Plaques are meticulously tended to by Tree Committee members who remove weeds and brush away debris, keeping over 675 Village plaques in ship-shape condition. It is indeed a joyful experience to walk the streets of the Village of East Hampton, to admire the magnificent trees, and to stop at tree plaques along the way to read about people who were touched by our Village over the years.
